Ischua- Theodore L. “Ted” VanSchaick

Theodore L. “Ted” VanSchaick of Johnson Hollow passed away on August 16, 2026.

Ted was born on February 14, 1946, in West Seneca and was the son of Leon and Gretchen VanSchaick.

After graduation Ted served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the maintenance department at Iroquois Central School in West Seneca for many years. Ted worked at the Cuba Giant for a period of time. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

Ted is survived by his nieces and nephews; Yvonne M. (Denise F. O’Neil) VanSchaick of Cuba, Michelle R. (Mike) Dembski of Hamburg, Pam VanSchaick, Mark VanSchaick, Christopher, and Joey.

Ted was predeceased by his parents and three siblings, Jack VanSchaick, Robert L. VanSchaick, and Diane.
