Olean- Theodore J. Shaw “Loving Father, Grandfather & Brother”

 Theodore J. Shaw of Alder Street passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

 Theodore was born on October 16, 1942, in Fredonia and was the son of Keith J. and Trecia J. Reed Shaw. 

 Theodore served in the US Navy then worked for Dresser Rand as a Machinist for many years. He loved going to races and helping work on the cars. Theodore enjoyed anything mechanical. He loved to have coffee with his buddies and roller skate and was a former owner of the Colosseum Skating Rink. 

 Theodore is survived by his four children: Theodore “T.J” (Tammi Basilio) Shaw of Olean, Terry J. (Cathy) Shaw of Debary, FL., Todd J. (Sherri) Shaw and Thomas J. Shaw both of Olean, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his siblings; Edward (Pam) Shaw and Melanie (Ken) Keith, and Brandon Starks whom he thought of as a son.  

 Theodore was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Tammy Joe Shaw, 5 siblings: Keith “Dewey” Shaw, Roy Haynes, Virginia Henton, Harold Haynes, and Kip Haynes.
