Bolivar- Ruth M. Barber “Loving Mother, Grandmother & Sister”

 Ruth M. Barber of 351 Main Street, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024,at the Olean General Hospital.

 Ruth was born April 8, 1949, in Buffalo and was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Pry Barber.  She was formerly married to Gary Curtis Sr. 

 After high school Ruth Graduated from Olean Business Institute with an associate degree in business.  

 Ruth enjoyed reading, shopping, and doing puzzles both crossword and jigsaw, she was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved her pets.

 Ruth is survived by; 6 children, James Dale Saccamano of Belfast, Samantha L. (Frank) Davis of Friendship, Gary M. Curtis, Jr. of Buffalo, Sharon R. (Rich Sia) Curtis of Lockport, Kari Jo (Dave Green) Curtis of Olean and Jennifer L. (William Pearsall, Jr.) VanCuran of Bolivar; 17 grandchildren, Justalene, Rachelle, Andrew, Avery, Ricky, Michael, Chelsea, Brittany, Veda, Harley, Gary Jr., Willow, Piper, Jesse, Lorrainna, Lyndsay and Anthony; 10 great grandchildren, Zoe, Aspen, Caiden, Aria, Madelyn, Caleb, Elaina, Peyton, Keason, and Katelyn; 4 siblings, Mary Barber, Angeline (Ed) Johnson, Cathy Barber and Peggy Barber. 

 Ruth was predeceased by; her parents; a brother, Michael Barber and a sister, Michelle Barber-Starling.
