Olean- Ronald M. Fox Ronald M. Fox of 127 S 3rd Street passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at Olean General Hospital following an illness. Ron was born on October 24, 1937, in Kersey, PA and was the son of Osberne M. and Madeline L. Moyer Fox. He was formerly married to Ann Marie Bahaney. On August 21st, 1981, he married Elizabeth A. Perry in Allegany who predeceased him September 22, 1989. Ron attended Knapp Creek School then Allegany School. He began working at Stroehmann’s Bakery at 16 and worked there for 38 years, where he retired in from 1991. Ron enjoyed going on rides around the area, mowing lawns, and going to dirt track races. Ron is survived by six children; Craig M. Fox of Salisbury, NC., Christopher R Fox of Kalispell, MO., James O. (Nancy) Fox of Allegany, Sheri A. (John) Elwell of Olean, Nathan V. (Annette) Fox of Olean, and Todd A. Fox of Hinsdale, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one brother, Ralph (Toni) Fox of Bend, OR., and several nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his parents, one granddaughter, Chelsea Fox, and two brothers, Roger Fox and Bern Fox. Friends will be received on Tuesday March 15, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Burial will be in the Allegany Cemetery.
