Robin M. Sammis of Jefferson Street passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.

Robin was born on December 24, 1964, in Cuba, and was the daughter of Robert and Gale Abbey Givan. She was formerly married to Ronald P. Sammis.

Robin lived in Long Island for a period of time where she worked as a house cleaner until she returned to Western NY in 2010. She enjoyed Classic Rock & Roll, loved nature, camping, all animals and pets.

Robin is survived by her mother, Gale Bono, daughter Taylor M. Sammis of Salamanca, loving companion, David Freyburger of Salamanca, half siblings, Shellie (Scott) Givans, Robert Givan Jr., and Tina Given all of Olean.
