Richard Harry Steszewski

Cuba – Richard H. Steszewski "Loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather" Richard H. Steszewski, of 9631 South Shore Road, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, at the Buffalo General Hospital, following an illness. Richard was born on December 22, 1942 in Buffalo and was a son of Harry and Dorotha Kaminski Steszewski. On December 22, 1983 in Colden Lake, he married his wife of 36 years, Sandra A. Dudek, who survives. Richard was raised in Buffalo, and he was a 1960 graduate of Bishop Ryan High School. He worked at Bell Aircraft for several years and then he went to work for Moog Aerospace as a method engineer in East Aurora where he retired after 30 years in 1997. Richard was a former member of the St. John Kanty Church in Buffalo. He and his wife, Sandra, moved to Cuba Lake in 2000. Richard enjoyed flying, restoring his Model T, and building his home in Yorkshire, as well as model airplanes. He also enjoyed his "muscle" cars. Richard was a collector of Lionel and Williams trains. Along with his loving wife, Richard is survived by; 2 stepdaughters, Roxanne Marie (Eric) Tessel of Woodstock and Rachael Ann (George) Ramos of Portland, OR; 2 step grandchildren, Amber and Gabriel; a brother, Robert (Carol) Steszewski; 2 nephews, Alexander Michael & Robert Steszewski; and a niece, Karen Friedenberg. Richard was predeceased by his parents and a sister Joan Makolinski. Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba, on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm, at which time a Memorial Service will be held. Fr. Rick Augustyn, Sandra's cousin, will officiate.
