Richard L. Kemp of 334 East Academy Street, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at the Charles Cole Medical Hospital.

Richard was born December 9, 1972 in Olean and was the son of Donald Mansfield Jr. and Geraldine B. Kemp.

Richard was an ACK mechanic who loved building model cars, working on cars and detailing cars. He also raced stock cars and go carts. Richard painted and remodeled homes. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and attending church but most of all he loved spending time with his family and best friend but especially his great nieces, nephews and his dog Bella Marie. Richard was a loving and caring person who would help anyone in need.

Richard is survived by; his ½ sister Lois Russell; 4 nieces, Nina, Brandy, Mary and Jessica; 2 nephews, Jesse and Jonathan; great nieces and nephews, Noah, Charles, Raiden, Tina, John, Payge, Scar, Phoenix, River, Star, Marley, Mac, Luca, Anthony and Nico; and a great great niece, Michelle.

Richard was predeceased by; the love of his life, Barb Patterson; his parents; 2 sisters, Louise Kemp and Tina Kemp; 2 great nephews, Eric Holmes and Brican Russell; a great niece, Jessica Holmes; 2 uncles, Francis and Richard Kemp; an aunt, Caroline Taylor; his grandfather, Alfred Kemp; and great grandmother; Ruby Russel.
