Olean- Quinton Matya “Loving Fiancé, Father and Son”
Quinton Matya, 24, passed away on November 1, 2023 in Olean.
Quinton was born on July 24, 1999 to his loving parents, Scott Matya and Teri Kahle.
Quinton was a bright and energetic man who brought joy to everyone around him. He had a contagious smile and a love for life that was evident from the moment he was born. Quinton enjoyed playing any sport, but his favorite was hockey. He also loved spending time with his family, going four wheeling, and being a father to his young son, Levi. Quinton made it known to the world how proud he was to be a father and the amount of love given to his son will last a lifetime. He was a happy and curious man who was always eager to learn and explore the world around him. His heart was one of gold and everyone who had even a glimpse of time with Quinton was impacted by his kindness and energy.
Quinton's family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Quinton is survived by; his fiancée, Krailyn Clayton; his son, Levi Matya; his mother, Teri Kahle; 2 sisters; Victoria Kahle and Heather Matya; 2 brothers, Dominik Kahle and Jesus Paul Matya; his grandmother, Pamela Johnson, and his grandparents, Yvonne and Paul Matya. He also leaves behind his stepfather, Martin Kahle; his stepmother, Tirzah Matya and 3 step siblings, Darius, Tristan, and Mckenna, as well as 2 aunts Tammy (Chris) Rovito, Emily Johnson, and uncle, Ryan (Marcy) Johnson, and 8 cousins Brittany, Alina, Gabby, Sarah, Lauren, Drew, Cayden, and Brody who loved him dearly.
Quinton was predeceased by; his father Scott (Daisy) Matya, his uncle Paul Matya, and his grandfather Richard Mansfield.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St on Thursday November 9, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at which time services will be held. Deacon Matthew Wenke will officiate.
