Surprise, AZ - Phillip Perry, “P.J.”
Phillip Joseph Perry, age 66, of Surprise Arizona, passed away on Sunday, April 11th 2021, at the Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center after battling a lengthy illness.
Phillip was born October 27th 1954, in Olean, NY to the late Charles F. and Ruth E. (Lawson) Perry. He was the youngest of five boys, raised in Portville, NY. He was a tractor trailer driver all his life. He loved the open road. From the East to West coast he probably hit the whole lower 48. He hauled milk, groceries, logs, steel, and everything in between. He was a true trucker. He was funny, sarcastic and always quick with a punch-line. But mostly… a very hard worker, loyal and respectable. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed going to car shows.
He is survived by two brothers; William “Bill” Perry of Carlisle, PA and Rodney Perry of Wittmann, AZ. His 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, all residing in NY. As well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert “Bob” Perry, and David Perry.
