Bolivar- Paula J. Miler “Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Sister”
Paula J. Miller, 55 of Bolivar passed away on July 24th at home after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 19, 1968 in Olean, Paula grew up in Allegany.
Paula worked many jobs from a very young age. She even owned a video store back in the 1980’s. Paula worked as a cleaner at The Old Library Restaurant in Olean, The Motherhouse in Allegany, and for the last few years she did home cleaning for her clients. She also worked at Advanced Monolythic Ceramics for a few years, working at McHone Industries in Salamanca for approximately 15 years.
Paula loved spending time with her grandchildren and two of her nieces, Jessica Wilson and her children and Mara Robertson and her children. She loved playing with all her great nieces and nephews, going swimming, doing diamond paintings, watching football especially her team the Oakland Raiders, all about that silver and black, she also watched The Buffalo Bills. Before John passed, they would go to classic car shows and flea markets almost every weekend with the kids.
The last few years Paula lived with her boyfriend, Mark and at the end of her life, her friend Treva moved in to help care for her while she was also on hospice….Treva, Thank You!
Paula is survived by; 2 sons, Aaron Robertson (Ashley and granddaughter Violet) of Ocean Springs, MS and Shane Miller (Granddaughter Kinsley Childs) of Olean; 3 stepsons, John L. Miller II (Miranda), Joshua L. Miller (Missy) and Jessy L. Miller (Taydum) all of Medina; 2 brothers, James Robertson (Kathy) of KY and Owen Robertson (Lisha) of Coudersport, PA; a sister, Cindy Robertson (Randy) of Olean and several nieces and nephews.
Paula was predeceased by; her husband, John L. Miller, her parents, O.G and Beatrice (Brehm) Robertson and her sister Carol Robertson.
Her family will be holding a Celebration of Life Gathering at 4960 Rt. 417, Allegany, NY 14760 on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 4:00pm.
