Friendship– Norma L. Middaugh
With deep love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Norma Louise Middaugh on Friday, February 27, 2026. Her life was a beautiful reflection of kindness, family devotion, and quiet strength.
Norma was a woman who found joy in life’s simple moments, which are the most meaningful. Tending her flower beds, watching her husband & son pull horses with her family beside her at the Angelica fair, and following every event of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether a game, recital, school program or special milestone, her presence was always felt. Norma created a home full of unconditional love, laughter, and traditions that will live on through generations. Whether talking about “what’s new with you” over a glass of unsweetened tea or Busch beer, offering gentle advice and a listening ear, she made you feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. She taught her family to slow down and appreciate the beauty in nature, each other, and all the moments in between. Her unwavering strength and heart will continue to guide our family. Though she is no longer with us in person, she took a piece if our hearts with her and left us with countless memories to relish.
Along with her loving husband Donald, Norma is survived by; 3 children, Wanda J. (David) Weaver of Belfast, Cheryl L. Middaugh of Friendship, and Donald W. (Dixie) Middaugh Jr. of Belfast; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Danielle, Shelby and Kaylee; 7 great grandchildren, Ava, Wyatt, Tesslynn, Blake, Carlie and Everett; 2 sisters, Mary Lou (Don) Drake of Angelica and Lillian (Don) Pye of Wellsville; her extended family, Chauncey, Lindsey, Matthew, Christopher, and Emerson Weaver of Belfast and many nieces and nephews.
Norma was predeceased by; her parents; a daughter, Kelly J. Middaugh; and 4 siblings, Barb Kieser, Phyllis Young, Ruth Ann Middaugh and Lloyd Ward.
In accordance with her wishes, a private graveside service will be held for immediate family. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 24 Genesee Pkwy, Cuba. Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to honor her memory by spending time with your loved ones, planting something beautiful, or pausing to notice a cardinal along your path. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. “Catch you later babe.”
