Olean- Nancy A. Venable “Loving Mother & Grandmother”

Nancy A. Venable of Absolut of Allegany passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

Nancy was born February 18, 1943 in Olean and was the daughter of Grandon L. and Georgia P. Pickup Warner.  She was formerly married to Carl R. Venable.

Nancy was a class of 1961 graduate of Olean High School.  She worked at Daystroms Furniture for a year before going to work in the office for Dr. Hughes on 7^th Street in Olean. 

Nancy formerly a member at the First Baptist Church and the Central Baptist Church.  She raised her daughter and made their house a home.  Nancy enjoyed doing word search puzzle books and crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter, grandson and her friend for “a good cup of coffee in the morning”.

Nancy is survived by; a daughter, Robyn L. Roberts and her son Carl R. Roberts both of Olean; a sister, Betty (James) Gorham of Ravena and a niece and a nephew.

Nancy was predeceased by; her parents; and 2 son in laws, Paul Dimpfl in 2005 and Richard Roberts in 2017.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 am.  The Rev. Dr. Anthony L. Evans and the Rev. Alan Yates will officiate. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
