Olean- Morgan Elizabeth Leese “Loving Wife & Mother”

Morgan E. Leese of Prospect Ave passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Morgan was born on July 19, 1978, in Portland, Maine and was the daughter of William Robert and Mary Rose Wiggins James. She was a Navy Brat and mother before meeting her husband who she married on May 21, 2011, in Olean, Matthew A. Leese, who survives.

Morgan was complex. She was funny, caring and loved with her whole heart. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, diamond paintings, and just listening to music were some of her favorite things to do. She impacted a lot of people in her life as someone battling chronic pain and various medical conditions. This past year has been incredibly hard on her and we finally thought we had made it to the other side. While this has been sudden and difficult to process, we all are just glad she is no longer in pain.

Beside her loving husband, Matt, Morgan is survived by her four children, Aileen J. Snow and Lauren E. Snow both of Allegany, Aiden W. Dobson and Fletcher R. Dobson, both of Staunton, VA, and her stepson, William M. Leese of Warren, PA., her father, William (Denise) James, and a brother, Stuart James of Mississippi.

Morgan was predeceased by her mother.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com

If you wish to do something in her honor, please donate to a local library or animal rescue. Consider adopting a pet if you can, as she fiercely believed in rescuing animals over pet stores.
