Olean - Linda L. Haynes     "Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister"

            Linda L. Haynes of 4081/2 South Union Street, passed away on Friday Jan. 11, 2019 in Olean General Hospital, following an illness.

            Linda was born on Feb. 15, 1950 in Little Washington, PA and was a daughter of Wade W. and Frances J. Read Lewis.  She was formerly married to Michael Haynes.

            Linda worked as an aide at Washington West Elementary School for special needs children for several years in the early 2000's, while working part time for UPS until her retirement in 2015.  She was an avid bowler for over 50 years, bowling in the Wednesday Night Ladies League.  Linda enjoyed being outside, animals, flower gardening, and working with her fish tanks, but she loved watching her daughter play softball and her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

            Linda is survived by; 4 daughters, Darcia F. (Carl Blauvelt) Gilbert, Melinda M. (Micki Orcutt) Haynes both of Olean, Danielle D. Brant of Friendship, and Brandi A. (John Grayson) Haynes of Olean; 4 grandchildren, Christopher (Carol) Gilbert, Rikki Kolata, Faith Brant, and Amelia Grayson; a grandnephew Owen Mitchell; 3 siblings, Wade W. (Skeeter) Lewis of Anchorage, Alaska, Rena M. (Steven) Bedow of Friendship, and Shirley A. (William Ingraham) Shreve of Friendship; a step grandmother, Ruby Austin of Shinglehouse; 4 step siblings, Kathy, Robert, Kevin, and Glena Austin and their families; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Jim Kline of Olean.

            Linda was predeceased by her parents.

            Friends will be received for a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, Olean.  Online condolences may be made at www.LetroMcIntoshSpinkFuneralHome.com
