Portville – Linda A. Harmon
Linda A. Harmon, 61, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Olean General Hospital, with her loving family by her side, following a courageous battle with Covid-19.
Linda was born on November 2, 1959 in Olean and was a daughter of Carl M. and Clarice G. Polen Timme. On March 19, 1988 in Olean, she married her husband of 33 years, Lawrence E. Harmon, who survives.
Linda was a 1977 graduate of Olean High School and continued her studies at University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. For the past 28 years, she worked in the business office for Rick Bokman's GMC Dealership in Olean. Linda was a wonderful wife, mothers, and grandmother. If you knew her, you knew of her special "Happy Place" in Wildwood, NJ, where she loved to vacation. Linda loved roller skating and did so competitively, getting her talent from her dad! She was a beautiful knitter and shared her talent with family and friends by making wonderful sweaters, mittens, and the best ever "Barbie" clothes. Linda learned her baking skills from her mom and a lot of lucky people got to enjoy her baking skills!
Along with her loving husband, Lawrence, Linda is survived by; a son Andrew J. (Erica Miller) Harmon of Allegany; a stepson, Jeremy (Lisa) Harmon of Portville; 4 grandchildren, Kyler, Nicholas, MacKenzie, and Ethan; and a sister, Mary L. (Rodrick) Timme-McConnell of Bath.
Linda was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Kathleen Farwell.
Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, the family is planning a Celebration of life at a later date and time to be announced.
