Kimberly D. Griffin of Route 16 passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Kim was born on December 1, 1973, in Cold Spring and was the daughter of Francis Robert Malarky and Lynn Gladys Morris. On July 18, 2009, in Poughquag, NY she married Samuel P. Griffin, who survives.

Kim was a 1992 graduate of Beacon High School in Beacon, NY. She attended American Intercontinental University online. Kim worked as a Daycare Teacher for Aster Day Care for about 3 years and then at Walmart in Fishkill, the Trading Post in Rock Hill, NY, and Nana’s House for about 2 years. She also worked at Stop & Shop in Poughquag until her retirement in 2009 due to illness.

Kim enjoyed crafts and gardening. She was a member of the Beacon American Legion Auxiliary.

Beside her loving husband Sam, Kim is survived by her son, Alexsander M. Tice of Olean, two siblings, Craig C. Morris of Sullivan County and Laura E. (James) Conklin of Olean, and many nieces and nephews.

Kim was predeceased by her parents.
