Olean- Keith V. Krabill “Veteran of US Navy & Avid Fisherman”

 Keith V. Krabill of Martha Avenue, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Olean General Hospital.

 Keith was born on September 7, 1960 in Cleveland, OH and was the son of Carl R. Krabill and Irene M. Schaefer.  

Keith graduated from Shaker Heights High School. He attended Ohio University in Athens Ohio where he studied Wildlife Management, and he served in the US Navy from 1984 to 1986 until he was Honorably Discharged.

Keith lived for fishing and being outdoors and likely fished in most of the bodies of water in Western NY including, the Allegany River, Quaker Lake, RedHouse Lake, Case Lake, Cuba Lake and many private ponds quite often with his friend Bob.  He had a love for all animals and was always rescuing stray dogs.  Keith loved music and played the guitar for most of his life.

          Keith is survived by; 2 sisters, Kerry Krabill Sweet and Vanessa Krabill Brighton; several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by; special friends, Jim McGonnell, Mike Lynch, Bob and MaryAnn Chambers.

          Keith was predeceased by his parents.
