Olean- Judy Lynn Barton “Loving Mother, Grandmother & Sister”

Judy L. Barton of 121 North 15th Street, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born April 2, 1961 in Olean and was the daughter of Herbert and Marilyn Cole Barton.

Judy was a 1979 graduate of Allegany High School. She worked at the Castle Hotel, St. Joseph’s Nursing Home and then she worked at St. Bonaventure University for 23 years until her retirement in January of 2025.

Judy loved her pets, including feeding wild squirrels, but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by; 2 children, Michael R. (Jillian Maxson) Davis of Olean and Marilyn N. (Cody Dickens) Davis of Allegany; 2 grandchildren, Lydia S. Davis and Rylan A. Dickens; a sister, Lynn (Gregory) Church of Hinsdale and her children, Timmy Laluk, Tammy Murphy and Ryan Murphy.

Judy was predeceased by; her parents; her brother, Russell D. Barton in 1992 and her dog Minnie.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held.
