Olean- Judith M. Kemp “Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother”

Judith M. Kemp of 1112 W. Connell Street passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her home following an illness.

Judith was born on February 9, 1947 in Gowanda and was the daughter of Merton Robert and Edna May Harvy Deet. 

Judith was a 1965 graduate of Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville.  She worked at the Onterio Knife Factory for a period of time before going to work at AVX until the mid 1980’s then she worked at K-Mart in Olean until it closed.  Judith then went to work at the Pines Health & Rehab in Olean until she retired due to her illness.

Judith loved her dog Coco but most of all she loved her grandchild who were her “world” and the “apple of her eye”.

Judith is survived by; 2 children, Scott L. Kemp of Ceres and Tracy L. (Jim) Padlo of Olean; 4 grandsons, Tyler M. (Hailey) Gunsolus, Dillan C. Kemp both of Olean, Hunter J.M. (Lauren Snow) Padlo of Allegany and Chance S.P. Padlo of Philadelphia, PA; a granddaughter; Scottie L. (Kwane Weakfall) Kemp of Olean; 6 great grandchildren, Harper, Ryan, Kwane Jae II, Lucas, Leo and Lola; and a sister, Violet Wiede.

Judith was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert M. Deet in 2022.
