Allegany- Joan M. Lockwood “Loving wife, mother, and “Mema” to many”
Joan M. Lockwood of Valley View Drive, formerly of Hungry Hollow Road in Great Valley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18th 2025, at Olean General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Joan was born on April 17, 1944 in Salamanca NY, daughter of Dr. Frederick and Dorothy Stanley. Her large loving family included four brothers, Donald, David, Wayne, and Frederick, her twin sister Judy, and Carol Ann. She married her high school sweetheart, Dean Lockwood, on March 30th, 1963.
