Hinsdale- Jill A. Rishel “Loving wife, mother & grandmother”

Jill A. Rishel of 1257 Congress Road, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Jill was born on August 25, 1952 in Olean and was the daughter of Albert John and Lila Rose O’Toole Orcutt.  On August 25, 2012 she married the love of her life Charles K. Rishel who survives.

Jill was a 1970 graduate of Olean High School.  She attended Nursing School at St. Francis School of Nursing, before enlisting in the US Airforce serving from September 3, 1971 to October 17, 1974.  Jill raised her sons and was associated with Visiting Nurses in Cedar Rapids, IA.  She moved back to Olean in the mid 1990’s.  She attended and graduated from JCC in 1998 with a degree in Computer Programing.   Jill worked for a Temp Agency and then she worked for Adelphia for a couple of years and then worked for Dr. Gupta as a receptionist and then the call center until her retirement in 2016.

Jill enjoyed kayaking, adult beverages, bonfires, dogs and being in the outdoors.

Along with her loving husband of 10 years, Charles, Jill is survived by; 3 children, Donald Golembiewski, R.J. (Margaret) Golembiewski both of Cedar Rapids, IA, Scott (Shea) Golembiewski of Ft. Collins, CO; a grandson, Carver Golembiewski; 2 brothers, Patrick M. (Ronda) Orcutt of Olean and David A. (Sharon) Orcutt of Portville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Jill was predeceased by her parents.
