Allegany- Jerry Steven Munday “Loving Father, Grandfather & Brother”

Jerry S. Munday of Cranberry Court passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Olean General Hospital shortly after arrival.

Jerry was born on December 25, 1954, in Olean and was the son of Gerald E. and Joyce A. Johnson Munday. He was formerly married to Emily River and Patricia Ferrero.

Jerry attended Pine Valley High School and Jamestown High School. He worked as a maintenance man for a number of motels and factories including the DeSoto Motel in Allegany. Jerry loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing guitar, watching tv and movies.

Jerry is survived by his 3 children, Thomas S. Munday of Jamestown, Chris J. (Angela) Munday of Olean, and Melissa S. Fisher of Olean, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 siblings, Ronald (Ronda) Munday of Duke Center, Randy (Marie) Munday of Ashville, and Sandy (Roger) Golden of West Ellicott, and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Mark Munday.
