Jean E. Sabella of Olean NY, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born August 22, 1953 in Olean and was the daughter of Francis J. and Dorothy Kiefer Theodore. On November 4, 2000 in Olean she married Mark W. Sabella who survives.

Jean was a 1971 graduate of Olean High School. She attended OBI for Secretarial Administration. Jean worked at AVX for 41 years retiring in 2015.

Jean enjoyed shopping, ceramics, and was very active in her church for 51 years Christ United Methodist Church later attended Believers Chapel for the past 9 years.

Along with her loving husband, Mark, Jean is survived by; 3 children, Niki L. (James Conning) Martello of Williamsburg, VA, Gina M. (Kent) Murawski of Stow, MA, and Major Joel M.R. (Sarah) Sabella of Leavenworth, KS; 6 grandchildren, Kole, Robbie, Jon, Savannah, Josh and Charlette; several nieces and nephews; and her mother in law, Nancy J. Sabella of Hubbard, OH.

Jean was predeceased by; her parents; her twin sister, Jane Theodore; and 2 brothers, James Theodore, Sr and Chuck Theodore.

In lieu of Flowers, donation can be made to Believers Chapel ( Love Thy Neighbor) a disaster relief program.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00am at Believers Chapel West Campus, 2522 West Five Mile Road Allegany, Pastor Sean Obergfell will officiate.
