Olean- James Earl Pittman “Dedicated Father, Family Man & Friend”

 James E. Pittman of 9876 Lucky Drive, formerly of Olean passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Gowanda Rehab and Nursing Facility. 

 James was born on May 5, 1970, in Buffalo and was the son of James Earl Jones and Patricia Pittman. 

 James graduated from Seneca Vocational High School in Buffalo in 1988. He was raised by his maternal grandmother, Ada James Pittman. James enjoyed playing pool, riding his bike, traveling, and spending time with his family friends. 

 James is survived by his 9 children: Shanequa Sims of Atlanta, GA., James Pittman Jr of Buffalo, Gabrielle Blanchard of Olean, Meghan Blanchard of Olean, Jamison Pittman of Olean, Jenna Blanchard of Olean, Jermaine Bell of Olean, Jada Pittman of Buffalo, and Jaiana Pittman of Buffalo, several grandchildren including Roman, Khyree, Lilliana, Ariah, his father James Earl Jones, 2 siblings, Michelle (Corey) Carter, Corey Pittman-Harris, and Icelynn (Ryan) Wilber, all of Buffalo. 

 James was predeceased by his mother. 

A memorial gathering will be held at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
