Geraldine B. Roberts of East Academy Street passed away on March 13, 2025 at the Olean General Hospital.

Geraldine was born December 12, 1941 in Shinglehouse and was the daughter of Alfred F. and Ruby M. Hanson Kemp. She was formerly married to Donald A. Mansfield, Jr. and then formerly married to Samuel Roberts.

Geraldine was a beautician, she did wallpaper, a painter, bartender, cleaner and a good cook. She was a Devils Sweetheart of the Kingsmen. Geraldine loved the Lord, her family and friends especially her grandchildren, and making things out of crochet for them.

Geraldine is survived by; a son, Richard LeRoy Kemp of Shinglehouse; 4 granddaughters, Nina, Brandy, Mary and Jessica; 2 grandsons, Jesse and Jonathan; 18 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; a sister, Lois Russell of North Carolina.

Geraldine was predeceased by; her parents; 2 daughters, Loise and Tina Kemp; 2 brothers, Francis and Richard Kemp and a sister, Carolin Marie Kemp Taylor; and 2 great grandchildren, Eric and Jessica Holmes.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 2:00pm in the 11 Mile Cemetery in Shinglehouse. The Rev Russell Horning will officiate.
