Olean- Frank R. Fischer “Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather”

Frank R. Fischer of Rt. 16 S. passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at his home.

Frank was born November 18, 1942 in Geneva he was the son of Frank and Sally Levy Fischer. He married Joanne DeMart on October 11, 1980 in Olean who survives.

Frank worked as a Pipe Fitter for UA Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 22 for about 40 years until his retirement around 2005. He also began antiquing in 1965 and continued through his retirement until his passing.

Along with his loving wife, Joanne, Frank is survived by; 2 children, Sean B. (Kathi Herrmann) Fischer of Olean and Kasey Tripodi of Huston, TX; a stepdaughter, Sonya C. Mitchell of Olean; 4 grandchildren, Sean Adam Fischer, Elizabeth Fischer, Amanda Merritt and Janell Wisda; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was predeceased by; his parents; a son, Frank G. Fischer on March 5, 2022; a brother, Rick Fischer and a sister, Barbara Fischer.

Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at which time a memorial service will be held Chaplain Terry Bush will officiate, beginning with full military honors accorded by the Allegany American Legion Charles Harbel Post 892 ritual team.
