Douglas J. Mosher (70) passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Buffalo General Hospital. 

Douglas was born on September 6, 1953, in Salamanca and was the son of Merlin J. and L. Lorraine Mosher. 

As a youth Douglas was an outstanding athlete that excelled most on the football field and track. This led him into a lifelong love of sports and coaching his children. Douglas was a welder fabricator and hardworking man who enjoyed riding his Harley and was an avid race car enthusiast. Doug was always helping others, especially on vehicles. When he was not going for a ride, he spent time going for walks or camping. 

Douglas is survived by; 3 children, Crystal L. Walters (Brett) of Eagle Bridge; Jessica L. Jones (Darelle) of Camp Lejeune; Joshua J. Mosher of Olean; Grandchildren, Ashton, Kerrigan, Trinity, Matthew, Zara; 2 siblings, Keith R. (Diane) Mosher of Olean and Kevin R. (Becky) Mosher of Little Valley; many nieces and nephews. 

Douglas was predeceased by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law Debra J. and L. Scott Ralston.
