Douglas E. Austin of Brooklyn Street formerly of Shinglehouse, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at his home.

Douglas was born November 24, 1964 in Olean and was the son of Lloyd E. and Phyllis R. Brabham Austin.

Douglas was a 1983 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School. He worked for a number of places including Fibercell for about the past 20 years.

Douglas is survived by; his mother, Phyllis Austin; 2 brothers, Timothy L. Austin and Brian L. Austin all of Shinglehouse, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Douglas was predeceased by; his father, Lloyd Austin; and 2 sisters, Kim L. Stickel and Tracey L. Latten.
