Dominic A. Marra, 59, of Olean passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Dominic was born on November 2, 1963, in Olean and was the son of Anthony Mize and Betty Jean Huddleston Marra.

Dominic worked as a Mason and Tile Setter for various contractors in the area for many years. He also had a passion for cooking and was a cook at Breadstix and other local restaurants.

Dominic was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved camping and the outdoors. Fondly known by many as “Uncle Dom”, he had a big heart and the personality to make friends instantly wherever he went. He always wanted to feed everyone. He had that one-of-a-kind laugh and dance moves that made everyone laugh. He was truly the life of the party.

Dominic is survived by his son, Anthony D. Marra of FL., siblings: Vincent (Ann Truman) Marra of Olean, Anna Maria Marra of Olean, Mary Grace (Howard) Thorpe of Lakeland, FL., Connie (Cass) Arena of Salamanca, Christina Marra of Olean, Gia Marra-Suman of OH., Toni (Russell) Cottone of Olean, Teresa (Jeff) Zink of Allegany, Anthony (Michelle) Marra of Falconer, Angelo (Danielle) Marra of Falconer, Pasquale (Lori) Marra of Brookhaven, and Samuel (Jennifer) Marra of Falconer, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. As a brother, father, and best uncle ever, he will be truly missed.

Dominic was predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
