Hinsdale- Deborah Ostrum
Debora Ostrum, 66, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born on September 29, 1959, Deborah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend whose caring heart touched everyone around her.
Deborah was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She was happiest when she was keeping busy and could often be found in her basement working on crafts and projects for the people she loved. She always had something to make, something to work on, or another project in mind.
Deborah was always up for a good time, whether it was playing cards, baking something in the kitchen, getting ice cream, shopping especially on Temu or simply spending time with family and talking. She found joy in the everyday moments and loved making memories with the people closest to her.
Deborah had so much more she wanted to do, see, and experience. Though her time was cut short, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the many lives she touched will continue on through her family and all who knew her.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Ostrum; a son, Dave Ostrum; a daughter, Brandy Ostrum; her siblings, Sandy, Linda, Bob, Doug, and Richard; her grandchildren, Dillon, Katelin, Marissa, and Mariyah; her beloved grandsons and her two cherished cats.
Deborah will be remembered for her generosity, creativity, sense of fun, and above all, the love she had for her family. Her laughter, conversations, crafts, and all the little things that made her who she was will be treasured forever.
Her life was a gift, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
