Olean- Daniel E. Dailey “Loving Father, Son & Brother”
Daniel E. Dailey, 28, of North 9th Street passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Born and raised in Olean, Daniel was the beloved son of Kristine Dailey Olver. He is survived by his two brothers, Brandon Dailey and Anthony Olver; and his two cherished children, Parker Dailey, age 6, and Marina Dailey, age 4, whom he shared with their mother, Tiana Peterson and loved with all his heart. He is also survived by one Uncle, Bryon Jordan, and two nieces from his brother Brandon, Calianna, 1 year old, and Leilani, 2 months old.
Daniel had a fire in him that was unmatched. He loved fiercely, lived passionately, and gave his all to those he cared about. An avid outdoorsman, Daniel found peace and joy in nature; he loved hunting, fishing, and any activity that took him outside, usually with his dog, Finn, by his side.
He attended Olean High School and later earned his GED. He went on to complete a welding certification course through Jamestown Community College and became a certified welder. Though he was skilled in that trade, his career was most often spent in the kitchen, where he worked as a cook at several local establishments, including 4 Mile Brewing and the Bartlett Country Club.
Daniel was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Linda Dailey, who held a special place in his heart.
His untimely passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who loved him. He will be remembered for his passion, his loyalty, and the deep love he had for his children and family.
