Olean- Dale E. Storey “Loving Brother & Uncle”

Dale E. Storey of 2936 Route 16 N. passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Olean General Hospital.

Dale was born September 2, 1952 in Wellsville and was the son of Jack D. and Rose Hotchkiss Storey. 

Dale was a 1971 graduate of Allegany High School.  He started working at his step fathers trucking company Henry H. Browning Trucking Company as a maintenance man.  Dale moved to Vero Beach Florida where he worked at the restaurant Banana Boat as a maintenance many he was a jack of all trades.  He returned to Olean in the 1990s where he worked at Carol’s Kitchen doing the same work until 2003 retiring from a disability.

Dale enjoyed music, especially Hard Rock and Classical Music, playing games on the Kindle and word search puzzles.

Dale is survived by; 2 sisters, Gail P. (Rex B.) Marvin and Janet D. (Ken L.) Sanderson both of Olean; 7 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and great nephews.

Dale was predeceased by; his parents; his step father, Henry H. Browning and an infant niece, Julie Ann Sanderson.

As per Dales request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
