Allegany- Clifton L. “Skip” Lunn

Clifton L. “Skip” Lunn, 79, of Route 417 passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital.

Skip was born on March 17, 1944, in Hinsdale and was the son of Clifton J. and Carolyn Sherwood Lunn. On February 23, 1964, he married his loving wife of almost 60 years, Dorothy I. Austin, who survives.

Skip was a 1964 graduate of Port Allegany High School. He worked for Dresser Rand as a Pipefitter where he retired from in 2006 after 41 years of service. Skip was a member of the local 4601. He enjoyed scroll sawing, hunting, and fishing.

Beside his loving wife Dorothy, Skip is survived by his 3 daughters; Sherry Bastow of Olean, Sandy (Gary) Lunn of Albany, Julie (John) Kolkowski of Allegany, one son, Steve (Lisa) Michienzi of Olean, 13 grandchildren: JR Skinner, Fred (Katie) Skinner, Sonya (Cody) Skinner, Jeffrey (Linn) Bergander, Adam Chandler, Alex (Brianna) Dougherty, Stephanie (Rob) Marshall, Courtney (Michael) Michienzi, Megan (Mitchell) Schapp, Kaylynn Michienzi, John Michienzi, Marissa Michienzi, and Piper Michienzi, 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Gloria Shreve of Turtlepoint, 4 brothers: Larry (Pam) Lunn of OK., Kenneth Lunn of Ridgeway, Brian Lunn of Eldred, Scott (Diane) Lunn of Wellsville, many nieces, and nephews.

Skip was predeceased by his parents and a daughter, Debra Mitchell on April 2, 2020

Friends and family will be received for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 5:00 to 6:00pm at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
