Olean – Carol A. Winsor "Loving Mother, Grandmother, & Sister"
Carol A. Winsor, of 129 North 20th St., passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
Carol was born March 29, 1942 and was a daughter of Donald and Edna Lewis Morris. She was formerly married to John C. Hinkle. On May 23, 1992, she married her loving husband, Donald R. Winsor, who predeceased her on July 9, 2010.
Carol was a 1959 graduate of Hinsdale Central School with honors. She worked at Acme Electric in Cuba, Clark Brothers, Conap, and at Olean Wholesale Grocery Corporation for 34 ½ years, where she retired in December of 2005. Carol was a member of the Five Mile Baptist Church.
Carol enjoyed gardening, photography, needlework, and square dancing but she truly loved spending time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by; daughter, Nancy S. (Don) Pritchard of Baden, PA; step-daughter, Sandra (Michael) O’Meara of Rochester; step-son, Ronald (Ann Marie) Winsor of East Granby, CT; 4 grandchildren, Hannah, Alexis, Dakota, and Jordin Pritchard; 5 step-grandchildren, Michalene (Mike) LaBue, Michael (Christy) O’Meara, Heidi (Chester) Darling, Shane (Adell) Winsor, and Michael (Roxanne) Winsor; 13 step-great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Roger) Miller of Walworth; and 2 brothers, Harold Morris of Victor and Billy (Pam) Morris of Bradford.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at which time a Funeral Service will be held. The Rev. Michael Sanders, Pastor of the Five Mile Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Hinsdale Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
