Olean-Betty Lou Abrams “Loving Mother & Grandmother”

Betty L. Abrams, 68, of 350 Front Street, passed away on December 25, 2023 at the Olean General Hospital, following an illness.

Betty was born April 5, 1955 in Bradford, PA and was the daughter of Calvin E. and Eleanor Milks Abrams.

Betty was a graduate of Limestone Union Free High School.  She worked for Donver Lumber Company in Killbuck and as a cleaner at the Limestone School and later for John Ash Cleaners in Olean.

Betty enjoyed playing BINGO with her friends and spending time with her friends and family. She loved all animals especially dogs.

Betty is survived by; son, Jason “Jay” (Sam) Homer of Olean; daughter, Jennifer “Jen” (Ben) Briggs of Sherman; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Gabriella, Isabella, Annabelle Lou Dean and Rosemary; 2 brothers, Calvin and George Abrams; 3 sisters, Donna Downey, Nancy Lawton and Sally Conner and many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

Betty was predeceased by; her mother, Eleanor Abrams in 1999 and her father, Calvin Abrams in 2002 and 3 siblings, Clarance and Robert Abrams and Gladys Hoch.

Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State Street, on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at which time a service of remembrance will be held.   Burial will be in the Limestone Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.letromcintoshspinkfuneralhome.com
