Portville- Audrey Josephine Whittaker “Loving Mother & Grandmother”

Audrey J. Whittaker of Wolf Run Road passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Audrey was born on February 27, 1951, in Kane, PA and was the daughter of Richard and Mable R. Sealy Moyer. On March 29, 1980, in Richburg she married her loving husband Dana F. Whittaker who predeceased her on November 24, 2011.

Audrey was a 1969 graduate of Richburg Central School. She worked at K-Mart for over 10 years until it closed. Audrey enjoyed fireworks, for the past 15 years she drove truck and set up displays in eastern United States and helped in manufacturing. She previously worked for Zambelli fireworks of New Castle, PA until joining Starfire Corp. of Carrolton, PA until her illness. Audrey will be dearly missed by her fireworks family. She enjoyed fishing, attending, and supporting her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Audrey is survived by her four children; Michael Whittaker of MI., Tracy C. (Tim) Gibson of Florence, KY., Bradley A. (Caitlin) Whittaker of Bloomington, IN., Kristie K. Whittaker of Cuba, nine grandchildren; Brittany, Madison, Kayla, Jade, Airiana, DaJuan, Carys, Hayes, and Sophie, two siblings; Patricia (Donald Ficarra) Scott of Lockport, and David L. (Kristi) Moyer of MN., several nieces and nephews.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, a brother Thomas Richard (Judy) Moyer, and a sister Mary Louis Kerswill.
